73rd Annual Meeting (CANCELED)
May 15-17, 2020
Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront
Virginia Beach, VA

Mobile Meeting Guide

April 7, 2020
On behalf of the VOS Board of Directors, we regret to inform you of our difficult, but necessary decision to cancel the VOS 73rd Annual Meeting, both May and the July tentative dates, at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The decision to cancel was deferred as long as possible with the hope that this outcome could be avoided. The ongoing spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is a serious concern, and the health and safety of the VOS community and our patients ultimately led to the decision to cancel.
All who were registered for the 73rd Annual Meeting will receive full refunds. Your registration will be cancelled automatically, and you will be refunded the associated registration fees. You do not have to notify us. Please allow up to 45 days for your refund to be processed and appear on your statement. If you paid by check, we will issue a refund check.
If you made a hotel reservation for the May, or tentative July, dates at the Hilton Virginia Beach, you will need to cancel the reservation to avoid any cancellation fees. The easiest way to do this is to go to your confirmation email and, where it states, “modify your reservation,” click thru to the next screen to cancel the reservation.
Once again, we are sorry about these circumstances and look forward to seeing you at the 74th Annual Meeting, April 30 – May 2, 2021, at The Greenbrier.

By participating in this program, your group receives discounts on membership dues for all eligible physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in your practice. New members receive a 25% discount on their first year of membership dues, and all current members receive a 10% discount on dues. There is one comprehensive renewal notice for all members in your practice or institution, requiring only one check to be issued for membership dues. There must be at least three eligible physicians, PAs or NPs in your practice for the group to qualify..

Group Billing Benefit
Your practice manager can join VOS for free as part of the group billing option. If a physician leaves the practice and moves out of state, the VOS membership will be transferable to a new physician in the group. Any new members will immediately begin receiving benefits such as the e-newsletter, legislative updates, reduced registration fees at meetings, the online "Find a Doc" feature, and much more.

We will screen the list of physicians in your practice so that any members in your group who have already paid will not have to pay again this cycle.  It’s not too late to add your practice to the growing list and save on VOS membership dues!  Please contact Greg Leasure, Membership Manager, at (804) 565-6305 or [email protected] with questions or to enroll in the group billing program.

Thank you for considering membership in the Virginia Orthopaedic Society for the physicians in your practice!
