Improving Seniors’ Timely Access to Care Act Reaches Threshold in the U.S. House

The AAOS-endorsed Improving Seniors’ Timely Access to Care Act (H.R. 3514) reached a significant milestone this week of 290 House cosponsors, an overwhelming bipartisan supermajority. This number is the threshold required for placement on the House Consensus Calendar, which would fast-track the bill for consideration on the House floor. AAOS hopes this achievement can help build momentum and encourage the relevant committees of jurisdiction to bring the bill forward for markup.

Group Billing Benefit
Your practice manager can join VOS for free as part of the group billing option. If a physician leaves the practice and moves out of state, the VOS membership will be transferable to a new physician in the group. Any new members will immediately begin receiving benefits such as the e-newsletter, legislative updates, reduced registration fees at meetings, the online "Find a Doc" feature, and much more.
