Are you looking to get more involved in your Society? There are many ways to participate, from recruiting new members to writing an article for the Newsletter.

Involvement Opportunities

- Write a Newsletter article. VOS publishes 4 newsletters a year – Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Articles can be submitted throughout the year to Andrew Mann at [email protected].

- Submit an abstract – Abstract submissions open several months prior to the Annual Meeting. Visit the Annual Meetings page for complete details and submission dates.

- Connect with us on social media – Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay engaged with the Society and your colleagues.

- Contribute to the OrthoPAC – The Political Voice of Virginia’s Orthopaedists. Make A Donation

- Recruit new members to the Society and they will be featured in the ‘New Member Spotlight.’

- Help expand our exhibit hall at the VOS Annual Meetings. Contact Dana Gibson with any company leads.

By participating in this program, your group receives discounts on membership dues for all eligible physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in your practice. New members receive a 25% discount on their first year of membership dues, and all current members receive a 10% discount on dues. There is one comprehensive renewal notice for all members in your practice or institution, requiring only one check to be issued for membership dues. There must be at least three eligible physicians, PAs or NPs in your practice for the group to qualify..

Group Billing Benefit
Your practice manager can join VOS for free as part of the group billing option. If a physician leaves the practice and moves out of state, the VOS membership will be transferable to a new physician in the group. Any new members will immediately begin receiving benefits such as the e-newsletter, legislative updates, reduced registration fees at meetings, the online "Find a Doc" feature, and much more.

We will screen the list of physicians in your practice so that any members in your group who have already paid will not have to pay again this cycle. It’s not too late to add your practice to the growing list and save on VOS membership dues!
